The Zebra LP 2824 is a label printer for small and medium applications. It has a robust and compact desk casing and is particularly simple in application and label handling. The LP 2824 prints using a direct thermal process onto thermosensitive paper and labels, making thermotransfer ribbons unnecessary.

The simple handling makes the LP 2824 appealing for use in all areas in which unskilled personnel are likewise supposed to produce labels on site. With the LP 2824, problems like paper jams and label clutter are definitely a thing of the past. The print head is positioned within the print shutter, so that the printing medium does not have to be threaded in a complicated way. Lockable paper ducts provide for exact positioning of the medium, while the print head can be replaced, if necessary, without tools and within seconds by any user. A label roll with a diameter of nearly 13 cm provides for long-term printing without roll replacement. The maximum printing speed is 102 mm per second at a resolution of 8 dots/mm (203dpi). The LP 2824 processes labels with a maximum width of 60 mm.
