Description

Tuffcoat Extreme™ Polyester label materials have been designed specifically for applications requiring extreme water-resistance with the highest level of imaging quality. Made of tough 2-mil polyester, this super High gloss material is also highly resistant to abrasion and tearing. both clear and bright while materials are available.

 

Product Usage

tuffCoat Extreme™ Polyester labels are the ideal choice for labels printed on Primera's LX-Series Color Labels Printers where full process color is used to add impact and/or functionality to the label. the superb imaging quality and super high-gloss finish provides excellent clarity and density of printed graphics, text, bar codes and high-resolution photos, making it an excellent choice for primary labeling applications.

 

The unique, patent-pending top coat on TuffCoat Extreme™ has been deisgned to allow water-based dye inks to "set up" during printing while providing a high degree of water resistance after printing.

 

proper testing in the final application environment is recommended especially when used near water or chemicals. as with all pressure-sensitive materials, this product should be tested thoroughly under end-user conditions to ensure it will meet the requirements of the specific application.

 

PLEASE NOTE: to maximize water-resistance and minimize smudging after printing, it is required that the user reduce inc saturation in the LX-Series printer's printer driver.

 

Adhesive

Versatile, general purpose permanent acrylic. High initial tack for excellent adhesion to glass, metal, polyethylene, plastics, corrugated and more. Complies with CFR 175.105 for incidental contact.
