The all-in-one touchcomputers of the B-Series are the successors of the successful A-Series. Using a large number of peripheral devices, interfaces and equipment options, they individually adapt to every requirement. Not just the easy handling, but also the quick expansion in a few steps combined with the easy field serviceability are key benefits of the B-Series.

 

The different processor options guarantee powerful computing performance for every application: a fanless Intel Atom Dual-Core with 1.66 GHz is available (B2); with 1 GB RAM (max. up to 4 GB) and 160 GB hard drive space, it is delivers quiet and performance for demanding environments. The model variants with 2.2 GHz Intel Celeron Dual Core (B1) and Intel Core Duo with 3.0 GHz (B3) boast 2 GB RAM (max. up to 4GB) and 160 GB hard disk space as standard. In contrast to the fanless version, these processors require cooling by fans. However, the elegant design and housing concept integrates all hardware efficiently and, due to the intelligent service design, allows immediate tool-less access to expand hardware or exchange defective components.

 

With either a 38.1 cm (15'') or 43.2 cm (17'') touchscreen, the computer is available with APR, AccuTouch and IntelliTouch. The Zero-Bezel APR supports the elegant design by providing the displays with a completely seemless surface without a bezel. Optional peripheral devices such as a magnetic card or fingerprint reader, customer display, speakers, webcam, etc. expand the input and display options and can be flexibly installed on either side of the monitor in the field. These upgrades fit into the seamless design, while increasing the range of integration possibilities.

 

Fast and simple installation is no problem with the numerous standard and optional interfaces. USB, RS232, Ethernet, Audio and HDMI (only B1, B3) are already available ex works; Wi-Fi, CF, 2nd VGA, powered USB, a cash drawer connector and a RAID controller are available as well as an additional 160 GB HDD as an option. You have a choice of preinstalled versions with Windows XP Pro, Windows 7 or POSReady 2009 operating systems.
