With the Citizen CL-S521 you get the optimised successor of the proven CL-P521. It shines with its aggressive price/performance ratio as well as the sophisticated functionality. High reliability, a stable, durable construction and a user-friendly design guarantee successful operation in a number of applications.
With a large supply of labels, the CL-S521 creates up to 118 mm wide labels using direct thermal printing without delays or troublesome roll changes. A maximum printing width of 104 mm, a printing speed of 150 mm per second and a resolution of 8 dots/mm (203 dpi) guarantee absolutely efficient work at any time. It builds upon the professional characteristics of its predecessor and optimises important features that set a benchmark in industrial label printing. For example, the continuously adjustable transmissive and reflective sensor was improved. It individually adjusts to different materials and widths and can be optimally aligned, completely avoiding accidental displacement; a particularly useful feat for individual formats. Optionally, a dispenser and cutter are also easy to retrofit. This is ideal for postal and shipping solutions, or even line applications that require simple label solutions, but also for ticket and other applications where continuous feed media are cut into predefined lengths.
The printer switches automatically between the Datamax and ZPL languages. Together with the large Flash memory, this cross-emulation guarantees you a wide range of applications. As standard, the CL-S521 has an integrated serial and USB interface. Optionally you can also install a parallel, Ethernet or Wi-Fi card for optimal connection to existing infrastructures.
The new version is also available in white and black. The compact housing with integrated AC adaptor avoids messing with cables and additional external devices, while the printer convinces with professional performance.

Consumables and wearing parts as well as damage caused by vandalism, fire or deliberate destruction are excluded from the warranty.
