The splash-proof design of the CBM1000 has been customised for use at the POS and in restaurants, bars or kitchens. This predecessor of the CT-S2000, which uses direct thermal technology, prints receipts and vouchers particularly quickly - 150 mm per second; a resolution of 8 points/mm (203dpi) ensures razor-sharp printing of documents. The Easy Paper Loading system allows receipt rolls of 58 and 80 mm width and a large diameter of up to 102 mm that is loaded in a matter of seconds, even by inexperienced users.

 

The compact, space-saving (145x190x152 mm, WxDxH), front-printing design ensures particularly ergonomic operation, guaranteeing that your customer will be able to operate the printer efficiently, even in cramped conditions.This concept of Citizen has been maintained also with regard to the peripheral hardware: the AC power supply is built-in as standard. The concept is rounded off by an optional cable protector, which prevents the power cord from being unintentionally detached.

 

For special applications we also offer you the CBM1000 in a label print version. This has the same performance characteristics as the receipt printer: it prints different widths of labels using the direct thermal technology with a speed of up to 150 mm/sec.The label sensor is built-in, as standard. It recognizes the end of the label without difficulty. The CT-S2000L can be supplied optionally with Black Mark sensor for labels that do not have a carrier ribbon or for perforated labels.

 

So as to enable you to react flexibly to the requirements of your customers, the CBM1000 is optionally available with parallel, RS232, USB or Ethernet interfaces. Two cash till connections are already built in, they are compatible with virtually all cash tills on the market. The CDM1000 is completely ESC/POS compatible; all required drivers for Windows 2000/XP/Vista/2003 Server, Linux and OPOS are of course included. The easy adaption using the included software and the high compatibility of the Citizen mini-printer makes a transition a simple matter.
